Some people like expensive Charizard’s. Others may be a big fan of Eeveelution cards. You though? You are here because you or someone you’re buying for likes the cutest Pokémon cards they can find.
And while there is a large range of Pokémon to enjoy, there is certainly no shortage of incredibly cute Pokémon cards. And today, we are going to cover 25 of the cutest there are.
There will be some Alternate Art Trainer Cards, some vintage, and lots and lots of pink. And if you’re concerned about my potential choices, I did have my daughter assist. So fear not, all of these are all little girl approved.
Since it’s incredibly difficult to order based of cuteness, the list will be filtered by cost. Hopefully this helps you find some adorable gifts that won’t break the bank (though some of these definitely can).
I’m sure there are other cute Pokémon cards out there that I missed. If I did, please let me know which ones in the contact form at the bottom.
Let’s jump in!
Snorlax #109/159
~$1.25
Starting out the list is not the shiniest or most pink on the list. That being said, it is a unique card as it comes from a set created by Asako Ito who crochets her Pokémon rather than drawing them.
While Snorlax might not make it as the cutest Pokémon for many, this version was most certainly worthy of the list. If Snorlax isn’t your thing, check out some of the other crochet art Pokémon cards.
Dedenne EX #93
~$1.50
While Pikachu rules a good portion of the Pokémon fan base, Dedenne has most definitely earned the hearts of many. With it’s large eyes and bit of a chonky body, it resembles Pikachu while still staying unique.
There were a lot of Dedenne’s that could have made this list (and more still to come), but the shiny pink nature of this one seemed to fit in the list well. And the good news? You can pick it up with shipping included for under $3
Alcremie TG08
~$1.75
While Alcremie is a unique Pokémon that looks like a dessert, it in fact only resembles one. The fact that it does though seems to add to its charm and uniqueness.
Once again, there were other tough contenders for Alcremie, but this one seemed to have a charm that the others didn’t.
So as one final note, no, you should not be eating Alcremie but rather just enjoying her cuteness.
Dedenne GX 195a
~$3.50
It didn’t take long but Dedenne decided to make another appearance on the list. This version however seems to be playing with a smaller Dedenne and potentially eating something.
Regardless if it is or isn’t, this chonky Dedenne earned a spot on this list in spades with this one.
Poké Kid Full Art 070/072
~$4
Sure, a lot of Pokémon are cute. That doesn’t mean that there isn’t some room on the list for some Pokémon characters. And the first one on the list is none other than the Poké Kid.
If it’s not a cute enough card on it’s own, it still manages to sneak in an Eevee outfit on top of it.
And in case you were wondering, yes you can buy an Eevee costume just like this for your next Halloween. You’re welcome.
Fidough Illustration Rare 213/198
~$4.25
There are quite a few dog and puppy-like Pokémon. All eeveelutions are a version of dogs (plenty of which are on this list), but one that isn’t as well known is Fidough.
In case you were curious, Fidough’s name actually does come from the common dog name Fido mixed with “Dough” (see the resemblance?). This one that is shown seems to be begging for some tasty baked goods.
And in what world does a begging dog not classify as adorable? Not this one I say.
Flamigo #227
~$4.50
While some Pokémon are versions of different animals, Flamigo is literally a Flamingo. They didn’t even try to come up with a more creative name for it.
Regardless, a group of smiling pink birds was quickly daughter-approved to make this list. Nice job Flamigo.
Mew GG10/GG10
~$6
So far on this list, Snorlax and Mew are the only two original 151 Pokémon. Despite Mew being both Legendary and incredibly powerful, it still easily makes the list as as top 25 cutest card.
The Mew GG10 shows a napping mew surrounded by Skwovet, a Galarian Ponyta (yes, basically a unicorn), a Nidoran (both male and female), a Cramorant, a Rokidee, a few Cutiefly, and an Arrokuda.
Sounds like quite a party.
Maushold #226/193
~$10.50
Tired of cute mouse-like Pokémon? Neither is anyone else.
These adorable little guys are seemingly having a great time hanging out and there is no shortage of cuteness.
Want to see one muching? Got it. What about one that is wearing a mushroom top as a hat? Got you covered. a few Mausholds cuddling and napping together? Look no further.
While this is the first card that breaks $10 on average, it seems to earn the price with the number of cute critters alone.
Flareon ex #RC6
~$11.50
The next on the list is our first (and certainly not our last) eeveelution, Flareon. The Flareon EX art has it peeking through the window while surrounded by pink hearts.
This adorable Flareon is on top of the cuteness charts for many and it’s easy to see why. Just don’t burn your hand trying to pet it.
Japanese Tinkaton ex #262/193
~$12
Pink? Check. Awesome? Check. Extra cute? You know it.
Tinkaton seems to have almost been made to be the adorable and still incredibly strong Pokémon role. You can be sure that it will fill the binders of adorable Pokémon card collectors everywhere.
And at about $12, it may be hard to pass this one up!
Pikachu RC29/RC32
~$14
Know what’s cuter than 1 Pikachu? 4 PIKACHU’S PLAYING TOGETHER.
There are a lot of adorable Pikachu cards on the market. This one though was tough to beat.
Between the flowers, the playing, and the full art background, this card easily earned a spot on this list.
Blissey V 183/198
~$16
While not quite as outstandingly adorable as some of our others, this Blissey seems to be comfortable just relaxing in a home. The artwork also gives it a great charm and makes for another calm and serene card.
And if that’s not enough for you? It also happens to be fluffy and pink. Score 1 for Blissey.
Light Jolteon #48
~$17
The Light Jolteon is one of the few vintage cards on the list. While the image doesn’t take up the whole card like most of the others, the Jolteon relaxing with a Togepi between its feet is most definitely DAWWW inducing and deserves to be on the list.
In case you weren’t aware, the Neo Destiny set is one of the most expensive Pokémon card sets ever released. And despite this card being non-holo, it still will set you back about $20. If you want a 1st edition version? You’ll have to cough up around $50.
Flareon EX #RC28
~$20
We saw a Flareon and a Jolteon already, so why not add them together with a Vaporeon also?
The Flareon EX is actually from the same collection, the Radiant Collection, as the adorable Flareon and Pikachu above. The entire RC set has quite a few on this list, and we’re still not done with it.
And if you feel like coughing up a bit for a more expensive version of the card? The Japanese version will run you quite a bit more at $168.
Sylveon EX #RC32
~$20
Thought we were done with Eeveelutions and the Radiant Collection? Think again.
For many, Sylveon may be the cutest Pokémon of all. And yes, it is once again daughter approved.
To see one playing with an Eevee though, it’s almost too adorable to handle.
If you feel like buying another rarer and more expensive version again, this Japanese version will set you back about $161.
Altaria ex 253
~$24.50
While not as classically “cute” as some of the other cards, the Altaria ex is a beautiful one. The Altaria flying through the sky with an amazing island background is both stunning and serene.
Add on the fact that Altaria has clouds for wings, and you can see why it was an easy one to add to the list.
Eevee & Snorlax GX SM169
~$25
While you may not expect Eevee and Snorlax to make a good duo, they certainly did for this one. This card has successfully earned both a cute and powerful status.
It’s art also adds to its charm as it looks like a kid drew it rather than an adult. There are actually quite a few different versions of this card, but this one earned the cutest title among them.
If you like this card, you may also like the Snorlax looking Eevee with similar art.
Togepi & Cleffa & Igglybuff GX 143a/236
~$50
While other Pokémon earned their spots as a solo act on the card, this one most certainly did not.
This card features three tiny, adorable Pokémon onto one card. The Togepi, Cleffa, and Igglybuff handily made this list, and it’s no wonder. Even one of their moves is called Supreme Puff. Come on now.
Unfortunately, this card does take a bit of a jump in price from the previous one. If you’d like something close but not quite as pricey, there is another cute version of the card for around $10.
Mega Lopunny & Jigglypuff GX #226/236
~$50
Coming in at $50 is the first appearance for Lopunny and Jigglypuff. Jigglypuff was one of the original 151 Pokémon and has been a long time contender for cutest Pokémon.
That being said, this card decided to put the bunny Pokémon, Lopunny, in with Jigglypuff to make this adorable duo. They also share the Puffy Smashers move, which adds to the vibe of the card.
Unfortunately, this one is also about $50, so it won’t come too cheaply.
Sylveon GX SV76
~$63
In case you were keeping count, the Eeveelutions are taking up about 30% of the list. A pretty impressive number considering the amount of Pokémon there are.
While a lot of the other cards on the list have a full scene and background behind it, this Shiny Sylveon relies completely on it’s own shiny cuteness.
If you don’t think that this card has earned it’s spot on the list the way it is, just take a look at a video showing off its shine.
Mew ex #232
~$92
While it’s not pink, the Mew ex was an immediate hit when released. It’s drawn as if it’s from a kids book and the sleeping mew with the cute Pokémon in the background make for an incredibly adorable scene.
On top of that, some would definitely argue that this card is worth investing in. It’s one of the rarest in the set and the artwork is most definitely appreciated in the community.
If you’re looking to buy it a little cheaper, the Japanese version can save you a few dollars.
Misty’s Favor #235
~$162
While Pokémon have earned their spots on the list in spades, modern trainer cards have taken the spotlight in many ways. As we can see, Misty’s favor still checks our pink heart box which is a necessity for many.
On top of that though, this card is incredibly rare and expensive. As a matter of fact, it is the most expensive card in its set, Unified Minds.
Lillie Full Art 151/156
~$260
While there isn’t much pink in this card, it definitely still fits in with the other cards on this list. Despite sporting no Pokémon, Lillie still makes the list per my daughters strong recommendation.
And if you think $260 is a lot for this card? The Japanese version of it costs $3400!!!! And believe it or not, that’s not even the most expensive Lillie there is.
Clefairy 381/SM-P
~$330
Despite me sorting this list purely by value, I’m happy to end the list with the above card. This particular Clefairy card sports both a cute and pink Pokémon with a Lillie behind it doing the same move.
And despite seeing a ton of incredibly cute cards, Pokémon has always been about them living in unison with the people that are in it. So how can we end with anything else?
