The rush of opening Pokémon packs and pulling a rare Pokémon card is hard to beat. Maybe you have a chase card you are looking for or maybe you just want a Holographic, Vmax, or otherwise. Regardless, seeing it in the back of your pack is a great feeling.

Unfortunately though, buying Pokémon packs is not cheap. As a matter of fact, it can get incredibly expensive very quickly. And there are a number of tins, boxes, packs, and otherwise that can keep you spending more and more.

There are ways to buy Pokémon cards cheaply, but it will almost always cost something. You can also buy Pokémon code cards for really cheap to get you cards online through the Online Pokémon Trading Card Game. Once again though, that still isn’t free unfortunately.

Where to get free Pokémon packs online actually comes from a Pokémon pack simulator website called pokemonsim.com

Despite these not being “real” cards, the website has a tremendous amount of functionality. It allows you to open packs from every and any set ever released, and continues to release the newest sets as well as they come out!

So whether you like vintage cards or modern, you can (virtually) rip into as many packs as you want for any set that you want!

The website also allows you to track your collection and seems to keep up with actual statistical pull rates for the different cards. So despite this being online, there is a tremendous amount of nostalgia and enjoyment to be had from opening packs online.

Once you take some time to check it out, send me your thoughts to [email protected]!
